HOWARD BOSTWICK
Sergeant Bostwick is on his second tour at the Three Rivers Police Department, and serves as the lead front line supervisor for the Patrol Division. Sgt. Bostwick brings a wealth of knowledge; he has over 30 years of law enforcement experience, serving as a Patrolman, School Resource Officer, and Investigator. Sgt. Bostwick even has had stints as a Jailer, Dispatcher, and a Deputy Sheriff. He is a proud retiree of the US Navy, serving in numerous operations from Vietnam to Libya, Kuwait, Somalia, and Bosnia. During his time in the Navy, Sgt. Bostwick was lucky enough to become a Command Investigator, serving Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton, California. Sgt. Bostwick holds an Advanced Peace Officer’s License and is working towards the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement’s highest License of Master Peace Officer.
The mission of the Criminal Investigation Division (CID) is to provide the highest quality criminal investigative support to the Three Rivers Police Department by conducting criminal investigations using advanced investigative techniques. CID detectives recognize their responsibilities to the community they serve and are committed to investigating all criminal allegations in an ethical and impartial manner. We aggressively investigate felony and misdemeanor offenses and ensure successful identification, apprehension, and prosecution of offenders.
